DANIEL E. McCARTY
Daniel McCarty is a native Texan, with family on both sides going back several generations in Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his undergraduate and law degrees. He established the firm in 1973, and since that time has maintained the principal office in the Katy, West Houston, Fort Bend County area. A long time Katy and West Houston Family Lawyer he has focused his practice on divorce and family law cases with complex issues; adoptions; and handles wills and probate matters.
Dan and Jarrie have three children, all of whom are practicing attorneys.

JARRIE D. McCARTY
Jarrie Davis McCarty was born in Houston, and grew up in Humble, Texas, graduating from Humble High School. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas, Austin where she met and married Dan; and later earned her law degree in Houston. Jarrie graduated from the University of Houston Law Center where she was a Member of the Houston Law Review.
She has a background in real estate, both commercial and residential, and handles wills and probate matters, in addition to the full range of family law matters — child custody, divorces regarding business entity valuations and separate property issues; modification and enforcement of parent child relationship issues, interstate conflicts, premarital agreements, grandparent rights.
